“拡張QSVEnc” is included in previous versions of ExtraPacks but not yet translated due to fast version change from the author.
Now, with the version getting stable (now at 1.11v3), I have edit the source and recompiled it into an English GUI.(A real PIA to build this… )
This plugin is somewhat demanding in requirements… please beware.
REQUIREMENT
- Intel iCore series CPU (i3, i5, i7)
- A motherboard using P67 chipset or newer
- Win7 or newer (XP users… forget this.)
- The Intel Graphics Chipset should be made active – either set as the primary display adapter or enabled via “headless mode” on multi-display adapter system (with Z68 chipset or later.).
- .NET Framework 4.5
- DirectX11
- AviUtl ExtraPack 1.2 (or later) OR Intel Media SDK(if not using the ExtraPack)
INSTALLATION
- DOWNLOAD the archive
- If you have created custom profile before, backup the files in the folder .\Plugins\QSVEnc_stg
- Extract the content from the folder “AdvQSVEnc-1.11v3-EN” to the “Plugins” folder in AviUtl. Overwrite all files and folders.
- Start AviUtl, go to [Settings> Compression settings>Plugin Export Settings], check if the item “Adv. QSV Export” is in the list.
- [Extra] If you are not using the extra pack, please open the setting menu and set the paths for the encoder and muxers.
USAGE NOTE
The plugin seems to support Hasewell CPU, but I don’t have one and therefore cannot confirm if those features work.
The plugin comes with a few filters for – deinterlacing, resizing, denoise and sharpening. Use them if you prefer speed over quality.
Tested on my Core-i7 i2600K and works in CQP, VBR and Auto-VBR (AVBR)
For users unfamiliar with encoding, I’d suggest using AVBR or VBR. Make sure you have explored the “Profile” Menu at the top of the setting dialog.
